*We strongly suggest you register your parking pass in advance.
Parking registration will become available on July 6th, 2026 and will be $8 for those who register. Attendees must register online through this link. Metered parking is enforced Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. After 4pm and on weekends, parking is free throughout the University at Lot A, C or visitor spots on campus (except around the Oval).

Galvez lot (L-96):
- Parking will be first come first served in the lot; spaces will not be reserved
- Digital entrance signs will read 2026 Japan-US Innovation Awards Symposium
- Gate arms will open at 7:30am and close at 5:00pm
- Once the gate arms are closed, cars will not be able to enter the lot, but those already parked will be able to exit. There are sensors at the exits that will open the gate arms to allow cars to exit.
To avoid a citation, vehicle information is required to obtain permission to park in the reserved spaces. Please provide the QR code or the registration link below to your attendees.
The last day to cancel this request at no cost, or adjust the request is Friday 3rd, 2026.
Please note that there is another event scheduled on June 16th with 20 reserved spaces in the area. Those spaces are unavailable as they are reserved for a separate event.
How to register for your parking pass

- 1. Navigate to https://www.offstreet.io/events/3PZPNILV
- 2. Enter the license plate the “Plate” field.
- 3. Select (or confirm) the vehicle’s state using the ‘State/Prov’ dropdown. This field defaults to “California”.
- 4. Enter your email address in the “Email” field and click “Next”
- 5. Enter your name in the “Event Attendee’s Name” field and click “Next”.
6. For events where the attendee pays for parking, enter your credit card information and click “Pay”. Otherwise, skip this step.
Optionally, if you’d like to save your information, click the “Save my information…” checkbox and enter an email address and phone number.
- 7. Your registration is complete! You should soon receive an email confirmation.
From Highway 101 North & South
Take the Embarcadero Road exit west – toward Stanford. At El Camino Real, Embarcadero turns into Galvez Street as it enters the Stanford campus. Stay in the left lane and continue toward the center of campus. The Alumni Center is on the right side of Galvez Street, just after you cross over Campus Drive
From Highway 280 North & South
Exit Sand Hill Road east toward Stanford. Continue east, turning right at the traffic light on Santa Cruz Avenue. Make an immediate left onto Junipero Serra Boulevard. Turn left at the second traffic light and onto Campus Drive East. Continue around Campus Drive East and turn left when you reach Serra Street, at the gas station. Follow Serra Street until it ends at Galvez Street.
From El Camino Real
Exit El Camino Real at University Avenue. Turn toward the hills (away from the center of Palo Alto). As you enter Stanford, University Avenue becomes Palm Drive. Go through one traffic light, and turn left onto Campus Drive at the first stop sign.
