Sunao Fujioka | Representative Director, CEO
Since April 2022, he has held his current position. He has built his career across McKinsey, Janssen Pharma, MSD, and bitBiome, with a strong commitment to the business and pharma/biotech sectors. During his time at MSD, he played a leading role in marketing as the Japan lead for biomarkers and companion diagnostics during the launch of Keytruda, an immune checkpoint inhibitor. His efforts contributed significantly to ensuring appropriate patient access to this groundbreaking cancer therapy. At bitBiome, he led commercialization and fundraising efforts from a management position as CEO/COO, leveraging a university-originated, cutting-edge single-cell genome analysis technology specialized for microbes. He holds a Master’s degree from the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo, and is a licensed pharmacist.

After working as a system engineer at IBM Japan, founded Source Corporation (now SOURCENEXT Inc.) in 1996. Listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers in December 2006 and on the First Section in June 2008. Has been living in Silicon Valley in the U.S. since 2012, where he divides time between Japan and the U.S.
Involved in the planning, development, and sales of software such as “Kyou-soku,” “Toku-uchi,” “Ikinari-PDF,” and “ZERO Virus Security,” as well as AI interpretation devices such as “Pocketalk” and “Pocketalk Pair.”
In February 2022, the Pocketalk business was spun off as a separate company. He was appointed as the President & CEO of POCKETALK Inc.

Previously spent 26 years at Keyence and Omron, holding roles such as Global Expansion Manager at headquarters and Regional Manager during a Singapore assignment. Joined Thinker Inc. in April 2024, focusing on U.S. market expansion. Last year, participated in CES2025 and the “SKYDECK” acceleration program, accelerating efforts to penetrate new markets.

He completed a PhD in computer science and an MA in philosophy from Brown University.

In Google’s early days, Mizuki also founded Google’s Tokyo Research & Development Center, and built Google Japan’s engineering team from the ground up. John L. Hennessy is co-founder and Director of Knight-Hennessy Scholars, the largest, university-wide, fully-endowed graduate fellowship in the world. He is Chairman of the Board of Alphabet and serves on the Board of Trustees for the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Hennessy has been on the faculty of Stanford University since 1977 and previously served as the President of the university for 16 years after roles including chair of Computer Science, dean of the School of Engineering, and university provost. He co-founded MIPS Computer Systems and Atheros Communications. He and Dave Patterson were awarded the ACM A.M. Turing Prize for 2017 and the National Academy of Engineering Draper Prize in 2022.
