euglena Co., Ltd. wins Emerging Leader Award

The Innovation in Japan – U.S. Business and Technology Awards program has announced the winner of its third annual Emerging Leader – Japan Award: euglena Co., Ltd.

euglena Co., Ltd. was founded in 2005, driven by the vision of CEO Mitsuru Izumo to address the problem of world-wide hunger and malnutrition. euglena Co., Ltd. has developed the ability to mass-cultivate euglena, a single cell algae rich in nutritional value that grows by photosynthesis using CO2 .
